We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist I to join our team. In this role, you will perform site‑specific manual and automated procedures and related duties in accordance with standards set by the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA), the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA), and the Health Professions Act.
Description:
As a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) I, you will be responsible for the daily processing, testing, results analysis and reporting of diagnostic samples within the laboratory department. You will perform a variety of routine and specialized procedures in the processing of specimens used in diagnosis, treatment and research.

Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications:The successful applicant must have a strong sense of teamwork and possess excellent communication skills. Strong technical skills and adaptability are imperative in this position.
Preferred Qualifications:Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Epic Beaker Laboratory Information Systems are an asset. Experience with Sysmex XN5502, Vitros XT3400, ACL Elite Pro, Beckman Coulter Access II, iSTAT, Triage Meter, Clinitek Advantus as well as recent phlebotomy experience is a preferred.
