Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university program. Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Recent acute care experience required in critical care required. Experience in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation is required. You must be able to work a weekend rotation. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required. You are able to utilize strong judgment by analyzing facts, considering the impacts, and arriving at a sound conclusion, seeking counsel when appropriate to effectively plan treatments and discharges from hospital. You can work independently and as a part of the team creating strong, effective interpersonal working relationships with peers and other caregivers. You are a reliable worker who is flexible in using their time effectively by prioritizing competing tasks. You have effective teaching skills for students and other professionals. Basic computer skills, and ability navigating Netcare, Outlook and other electronic medical records are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Connect Care trained is preferred. Familiarity with Netcare, Connect Care, Outlook and other electronic medical records are preferred. Preferred 1 year of experience in a critical care and burns setting. Knowledge of burns, ortho/trauma/surgery and end of life care is an asset.
