Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:As required.
Preferred Qualifications:Education in CTAS, Cardiac Arrest management (CAM) Basic and Advanced or ACLS, Trauma 101 or TNCC, Pediatric Building Blocks or PALS, and ENPEP. IV and CVAD competency. Other courses and training applicable to the rural acute and emergency setting an asset.
